Parsons Corporation Senior Manager – Construction Management (Delivery) MEP in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manager – Construction Management (Delivery) MEP to join our team for the construction of a large-scale oceanarium. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of MEP systems in alignment with project goals, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensure MEP designs meet project requirements, sustainability goals, and industry standards.

  • Oversee the installation of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialized systems unique to oceanarium environments.

  • Manage and supervise MEP subcontractors and ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.

  • Provide expert guidance on MEP systems, troubleshooting complex issues and resolving technical challenges.

  • Ensure that all MEP systems are designed and installed to support the unique needs of marine life support systems, including water treatment, filtration, and temperature control.

  • Implement innovative MEP solutions to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability of the oceanarium.

  • Develop and implement MEP quality assurance and control procedures.

  • Monitor MEP work to ensure it meets high standards of quality and performance.

  • Conduct testing and commissioning of MEP systems to verify proper operation before project handover.

  • Mitigate risks and implement corrective actions to address schedule delays or budget overruns.

  • Serve as point of contact for all MEP-related matters, communicating effectively with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

  • Facilitate regular meetings and progress updates with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any issues promptly.

  • Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and project status updates to senior management and clients.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in MEP management within the construction industry, with a strong focus on large-scale, complex projects.

  • Proven experience in managing MEP systems for aquatic or oceanarium projects is highly desirable.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to MEP systems.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
