Parsons Corporation Lead Engineer - Interior Design (Saudi National) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Design Lead Engineer to play a key role in providing technical leadership and expertise for the design and construction of a state-of-the-art stadium. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to ensure the project meets regulatory body guidelines, requirements, and standards, delivering an exceptional experience for athletes, spectators, and stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate interior design with overall project goals.
Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts tailored to the unique requirements of a stadium environment.
Oversee the creation of detailed interior design plans, including seating, VIP areas, locker rooms, hospitality suites, media areas, and public spaces.
Ensure designs are inclusive, accessible, and enhance the spectator experience.
Provide technical guidance on materials, finishes, and furnishings suitable for high-traffic and high-use environments.
Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure the quality of interior design execution.
Address and resolve any design-related issues that arise during construction.
Maintain documentation and provide reports on project status, including any deviations from the design plan.
Present design concepts and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Professional certification or licensure in interior design or architecture.
Minimum of 18 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on large-scale projects such as stadiums, arenas, or other sports facilities.
Knowledge of FIFA guidelines, requirements, and standards for stadium design is an asset.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing design teams and large projects.
Strong technical expertise in materials, finishes, and furnishings suitable for stadium environments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
