Jay Peak Resort Valet/Lobby Attendant - 2024+25 Winter in Jay, Vermont

PART-TIME or FULL-TIME | SEASONAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE

The Valet/Lobby Attendant assists guests in the Tram Haus Lodge and Hotel Jay areas - ensuring their arrival and departure experience is welcoming, efficient, and professional through various essential duties.

**The start date will be in the first week of December.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

Specific duties vary by location - containing all or a part of the essential duties as follows:

  • Depending on location – assists guests to enter and leave car, loads and unloads baggage & ski equipment.

  • Depending on location- parks vehicle in designated parking areas

  • Depending on location – directs traffic in the hotel entrance area and provides directions to guest self -parking areas.

  • Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms, assists with hand luggage, and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions.

  • Tidy the lobby and guest common areas as needed to include inside and outside areas.

  • Assists guests with ski lockers, loading and unloading ski equipment, providing instructions, and performing maintenance on the locks as needed.

  • Answers phones, to assist with guest questions.

  • Must be professional, courteous, welcoming, and helpful to guests at all times – providing information and assistance to support a high quality of service for positive guest experiences.

  • Must support a team environment & be prepared to work in various conditions (inside & outside in various forms of weather from rain, snow, ice, heat or cold).

  • Depending on location – assists with clearing snow from walkways and guest vehicles.

  • Other duties as assigned by a supervisor, which could be directly related or unrelated to the original position.
