At Globe Communications, LLC, as a Lead Safety you’ll assist in the day-to-day management of all safety programs for the company. This position will coordinate with the Safety Manager, Area Managers and others to ensure compliance with all programs, policies and OSHA regulations.

    What you’ll do as a Lead Safety

  • Conduct jobsite safety inspections

  • Assist work crews with jobsite safety observations

  • Coordinate safety related purchases

  • Conduct new hire safety training

  • Conduct specialized safety training

  • Maintain all safety documentation and training records

  • Conduct accident investigations

  • Assist with other safety projects as assigned

    What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • 3-5 years of related experience

  • Must have working knowledge of USDOT and OSHA regulations

  • Must have valid driver's license with good driving record

  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office

  • Strong communications skills

  • Ability to frequently travel to other work locations

    Additional qualifications (if applicable)

  • Experience preferably in the construction safety field

    Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: Bend, stand, walk, climb stairs, operate vehicle, use mouse & keyboard

  • Occasionally: Lift between 26 and 55 pounds
