Vontier Human Resources Generalist People & Culture in Janesville, Wisconsin
As a People & Culture Generalist you will provide advice and counsel in all areas of the employee experience including on-going employee relations, employee development, interpretation of P&C policies, and creating and implementing new programs and initiatives.
3+ years previous Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
Prior experience handling employee data, with exposure to payroll advantageous
Able to work globally with a diverse array of people and build strong working relationships.
Willingness to take ownership, be held accountable and achieve a good outcome for all stakeholders
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Passionate customer service orientation with extensive experience in managing multiple stakeholders
Good project management and multi-tasking skills.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage and resolve both routine and complex employee relations issues.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provide performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Work closely with Payroll teams to ensure a high-level of quality and delivery.
Collaborate with both direct and indirect Talent Acquisition as required.
