Job Description: This position welds fabricated components, per custom or stock specifications, for sale to customers in conjunction with customer quality requirements and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies. Monitoring welding performance and efficiency are essential.

Reports To: Operations Supervisor

Shift: 1st Shift 4:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday - Thursday (OT as required)

  • Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Application Specialist to join our team. If you have a passion for precision and take pride in producing exceptional finishes, this role is for you. As a key player in our production process, you will ensure that our products meet the highest aesthetic and quality standards through expert powder coating techniques.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute proper powder coat application techniques with precision.

  • Regulate paint gun settings and make necessary adjustments.

  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to maintain equipment functionality.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance on paint line equipment.

  • Apply paint efficiently to meet our aesthetic and customer requirements.

  • Use equipment to check and verify paint thickness.

    Qualifications:

  • Exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes.

  • Experience with powder paint application and processes.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to operate overhead cranes, tape measures, calipers, basic hand tools, and air tools.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

  • Strong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Commitment to performing duties in line with UAI and ISO requirements.

  • Physical ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with assistance.
