Position Data:

Title: Site Leader

Grade: 6 Exempt: Non-Exempt: X

Reports to: Youth Services Coordinator

Basic Function or Position Summary:

Oversee daily operations for the Safe House and Transitional Independent Living Program. Liaison with service personnel, families, and volunteers; provides on call support.Hours per week 35: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Salary $18.08-$19.08/hourly

Security Clearance:Access Lv 4 V,A,C,R

Requirements

Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties:

• Assists with licensure of sites

• Assures and monitors implementation of appropriate policies and procedures in accordance with designated guidelines and regulations.

• Oversees and implements schedules and day to day activities.

• Supervises and provides training for staff and volunteers in coordination with Service Area Manager

• Orders supplies and maintains sites inventory as needed.

• Compiles reports and data; utilizes HMIS, and CAPSYS.

• Promotes positive agency and service area image, acts as ambassador for agency.

• Fosters cooperative relationships with Funders, staff, partners, and volunteers.

• Obtains and tracks in-kind documentation.

• Performs on call duties as designated.

• Ensures asset activities completed and reported.

• Implements MOU’s/MOA’s and Collaboration Agreements as appropriate

• Assists with facilitation of Advisory Board.

• Participates in meetings as designated

• Maintains designated training logs

• Contributes to service area assessments and strategic planning

• Facilitates Linkages to COI services for families.

• Successfully motivates customers to participate in site activities as appropriate.

• Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self-sufficiency.

• Participates in the larger team of the agency through committee structures, planning, policy development and volunteerism.

• Assists staff in the formation and implementation of street outreach procedures and marketing materials.

• Participates in community events/activities relating to youth, as needed

• Conducts outreach to schools, street outreach, or community-based organizations to engage runaway or homeless youth, as needed

• Other duties as assigned.

A. Internal:Division Director, Youth Services Coordinator and Staff.

B. External:Funders, Court personnel, Law enforcement personnel, School Staff CBO Partners, Customers, Volunteers

Organizational Responsibilities:

• Reporting, tracking, and filing

• All Agency Management Systems

• Committee assignments where needed

• Facilitation of Advisory Committee Structure and meetings

Knowledge, Skills Required:

• A.A Degree and or 3 years experience related to site outcomes required;

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related experience preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer relations skills.

• Strong computer skills, including word processing, data entry and spreadsheet in a windows environment.

• Goal oriented.

• Ability to develop and maintain & engage in positive relationships with people from various backgrounds.

Special Requirements, if any:

• Valid Driver’s license.

• Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.

• Reliable transportation.

• Completes all OMH requirements.

• Ability to obtain and maintain initial health physical and TB test

• Must be able to provide consistent, even tempered customer service at all times.

• Works compassionately with a diverse population

• Experience navigating community programs
