Residential Addiction Services Unit
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. Responsibilities include:
Utilize the nursing process to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
Formulate daily care plans, collaborating with patients as partners.
Identify and address clinical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs.
Communicate effectively with care providers to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient documentation.
Promote patient safety, quality, and satisfaction by aligning with best practices.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practices.
Foster productive, culturally sensitive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Provide patient and family education, ensuring smooth transitions between care levels.
Support the development of new staff and students, serving as a mentor or preceptor.
Participate in shared governance and contribute to improvements in care and the work environment.
Demonstrate adaptability, accountability, and a commitment to professional growth.

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Knowledge of age-specific care and growth/development principles across the lifespan.
Ability to assess and interpret patient data to meet individualized care needs.
Strong relationship-building skills with all healthcare team members and patients/families.
Ability to work effectively in a complex environment with changing priorities.
Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and patient positioning.
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC) within 60 days of hire/transfer.
Registered Nurse (RN)
NYS Fingerprint Check (NYFP)
NYS Staff Exclusion List (NYSEL)
NYS Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse (NYSCR)
