Job Description
Job Title: Accounting & Reporting Jr. Manager
Location: Indonesia, Jakarta
About the role:
Provide Accounting and Operational support.
Develop and maintain accounting principles and best practices to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
Ensure compliance with local and corporate statutory requirements.
How you will contribute:
Provide leadership in accounting processes, journals, reporting, and analysis to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review statutory financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.
Handle Intercompany transactions, cross charged and reconciliation.
Check and review for corporate tax computation and ensure tax return is submitted on time.
Responsible for tax risk reporting which include corporate tax, withholding tax and value added tax.
Ensure the transfer pricing transactions are complying to transfer pricing rules, liaise with Finance Controller who will collaborate with global transfer pricing team.
In charge for master data maintenance and in collaboration with FP&A in updating cost centre and GL accounts.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure the company's assets and financial data are safeguarded.
Involve in global projects such as Business Process Redesign and financial systems implementation.
Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate audit activities.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and support the company's growth initiatives.
Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as when required.
What you bring to Takeda:
Bachelor of Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Has good understanding in Indonesia Tax laws and/or have Tax Brevet
Proven experience in accounting with a minimum of 4 years
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and relevant regulatory requirements
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
Independent, able to work under pressure and committed to meet tight deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills. English is a must to liaise with Takeda Business Services and/or Takeda Solution Portal located in above countries.
