McDonald's Facilities Maintenance Technician in JACKSONVILLE, Illinois
Position Overview: Capital City McD, Inc., a family-owned McDonald’s franchisee operating 14 restaurants in Springfield, Jacksonville, Beardstown, Mt. Sterling, and Havana, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the operational excellence of our restaurants. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the internal Brush Butler Technician, performing routine cleaning and maintenance of Taylor soft-serve machines across all locations.
Complete a variety of maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
Equipment upkeep and repair.
Facility maintenance and minor improvements.
Troubleshooting and addressing operational issues in a timely manner.
Travel regularly between restaurant locations to ensure consistent service and maintenance schedules.
Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and equipment serviced.
Communicate effectively with restaurant managers to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field is preferred.
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between restaurant locations.
Physical capability to perform hands-on maintenance work, including lifting and bending.
Flexible availability, as occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
Compensation:
Starting pay: $17 - $20/hour, based on experience.
Higher compensation may be available for candidates with extensive relevant experience.
