Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Training Program Development and Administration

  • Develop and implement robust training programs tailored to the needs of our workplace division. This includes creating job-specific certifications based on essential skills and competencies.

  • Create Training Materials: Develop training materials, including manuals, visual aids, e-learning modules, and other resources necessary for effective training delivery.

  • Facilitate Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for train the trainer, workshops, and seminars for various teams within the division. This may involve organizing guest speaker engagements and coordinating with external trainers.

  • Track and Assess Performance: Monitor training attendance, administer test assessments, and evaluate performance to ensure the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Update Training Materials: Regularly review and update training materials to ensure they remain relevant and up to date with industry standards and best practices.

  • Incorporate Feedback: Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve the training programs and address any gaps or areas for enhancement.

  • Stay Current with Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in training and development to ensure our programs are cutting-edge and effective.

  • Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work with Functional Teams: Collaborate with field and administrative teams to identify specific training needs and ensure that all training programs are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Engage with Managers and Leaders: Partner with managers and leaders to plan future training sessions, review employee progress, and facilitate the presentation of certificates upon completion of training levels.

  • Cross-Divisional Workshops: Organize and conduct workshops that bring together employees from different divisions and service providers to foster shared learning and collaboration.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), and other training-related software and tools.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and external partners.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development.

  • Experience in designing and implementing training programs and materials.

  • Experience in the commercial moving or logistics industry is a plus.

TRAVEL:

  • Occasional travel throughout the year may be required.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports.

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Operations:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS (Human Resources Information System), timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.

Planning/Organization:

  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday

  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work
