The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support Government Training Engineering (GTE) and the SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration & Test) team. This role will primarily support integration activities and assist in verification activities to advance our P-8 Trainers in Jacksonville, FL . The successful candidate needs to be a self-starter and motivated to find their lane to support a growing business. Through our training program, the successful candidate will demonstrate previous and appropriate technical experiences that will enable them to support disciplined and repeatable trainer/simulator integration and verification testing.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Update existing Technical Orders (TO)

  • Responsible for the quality and timeliness of work assigned

  • Expected to pro-actively seek out necessary information to complete tasks

  • Responsible to leadership of any issues affecting quality

  • Collects, researches and analyzes source data

  • Identifies source data inaccuracies and takes corrective action

  • Conducts peer reviews of completed publication elements

  • Participates in customer technical and program reviews

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 3+ years' experience developing verification requirements, verification plans and test procedures

  • 3+ years’ experience with all aspects of the SEIT product development lifecycle

  • 1+ years’ experience with engineering development processes and leading teams

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 15-25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with system/subsystem integration

  • Experience with troubleshooting products with complex digital, analog, and networked interfaces

  • Experiences with Linux OS

  • Experience in reviewing and understanding requirements and translating them in authored verification acceptance test procedures

  • Experience developing scripts to automate processes and developing network architectures

  • Experience with a P-8 simulator or relevant aircraft

  • Experience with commercial or military flight simulators

  • Experience with Agile/SAFe/EVM

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $97,750 - $132,250
