Robert Half IT Support Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an IT Support Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida. This role primarily involves providing comprehensive technical support, including desktop and application support, monitoring server performance, and resolving network issues.
Responsibilities:
• Offer support for user setups and line of business application support.
• Monitor Windows server and server application performance, resolving issues as they arise.
• Provide support for latest Microsoft Windows server technologies, including operating systems, exchange, DNS, and Active Directory.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot internet bandwidth problems and ISP issues.
• Produce, maintain, and update technical documentation to facilitate smooth operations.
• Provide escalated desktop and application support as part of your weekly duties.
• Utilize skills in Active Directory, Computer Hardware, MS Windows 10, O 365, Cloud Technologies, and Basic Network Troubleshooting to perform your duties effectively. Requirements
• Proven experience in IT support or related roles
• Proficiency in Active Directory
• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware
• Proficiency in MS Windows 10
• Familiarity with Office 365 (O 365)
• Experience with Cloud Technologies
• Basic Network Troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service orientation
• Relevant certifications in IT or related field would be advantageous.
