Actalent Injection Molding Engineer in JACKSONVILLE, Florida
Description:
Seeking a skilled engineer to support day to day problem as well as long term projects on the injection molding equipment.
Become a subject matter expert on mold design
Troubleshoot and problem solve issues with the Injection Molding designs.
Determining root cause of mechanical issues with the molds and designs: Could it be raw material, the mold, the hot runner, temperature, cooling, process, etc .
Creating a strategy to develop a base line process.
Create and run DOEs for injection mold designs
Perform validations on injection molding designs and tolerancing
Work closely with installation of new injection molding equipment for manufacturing lines and implementing new designs.
Design and develop new molds
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience
Working with Plastics Injection Molding equipment.
Experience working with automated lines and robotics.
Mold design background preferred.
Process and Validation Experience
Root Cause analysis and problem solving capabilities.
