Description
Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our IT department. If you're a dedicated problem solver, a team player, passionate about staying current on the latest IT solutions and dedicated to delivering high-quality support, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, establish and maintain IT infrastructure to support business operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely fashion.
Implement system upgrades, patches, and new software/hardware installations.
Perform regular audits to ensure infrastructure performance and security compliance.
Collaborate with the support team to maintain and improve system performance.
Help develop IT support standards and procedures.
Provide training to team members on various technical topics.
Participate in emergency response and system recovery activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Support Engineer or similar role.
Advanced knowledge of systems engineering, databases, and warehousing.
Proficiency with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Unix.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and multitasking abilities.
Extreme attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
Certification in Microsoft, Cisco, or similar would be a plus.
