Job Description

The essential function of the position within the organization is to manage and oversee human resources processes, services, and programs. The position is responsible for supervising staff, providing planning and training, managing payroll and benefits programs and processes, administering, or assisting with administration of court programs and services, managing recruitment processes, ensuring policy and regulation compliance, serving as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator, and performing related administrative functions, including reviewing, preparing, and submitting human resource (HR) reports. The position works independently, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.

Education and Training Guidelines

Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, business management, employment law, or a closely related field.

Five years of related professional work experience, including two years in a supervisory or managerial position.

A master’s degree in an area cited above may substitute for two years of the recommended non-management experience.

Competencies

Ability to communicate with everyone in the workplace including line staff to judges. Ability to exercise sound judgement and engage in high- impact making decisions. Ability to work collaboratively to achieve the goals of the organization.
