**[JOB SUMMARY: [BBandE is seeking a Controls Engineering (SME) to support AFCEC/CO at Tyndall AFB, FL.

Provide technical support and facilities planning in support of acquisition, development, and sustainment of CE Control Systems (CECS), sub-systems, support equipment, and associated networking.

Establish criteria, plan, and design performance characteristics for CECS, especially CECS interconnected among multiple facilities.

Assist with the technical resolution of control system technical guidance, to include UFCs, UFGS, AFIs, playbooks and other relevant engineering guidance.

Assist with policy development, interpret, and clarify, and offer technical support for planning and execution of control system aspects of Air Force construction projects.

Assist with evaluating commercially available and emerging control systems technologies as alternate solutions to conventional engineering design and construction practices.

Assist in preparation and delivery of control system training and engineering presentations.

Perform site visits to assist the bases with control system issues.

Evaluate data, document then troubleshoot technical issues, plan, and determine problems for installations.

Perform review and evaluation of designs, examine proposals, research, and analysis of technical problems.

Review and recommend authorization and categorization of Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) and/or Equipment Authorized in-Use Details (EAID).

Develop briefings, presentations, slides, and papers that document technical decisions.

Manage, consolidate, track, and respond to organizational comments and/or electronic messages.

Draft agendas, facilitate, and provide meeting minutes to include technical reports.

Provide technical expertise in criteria development, code review, read manuals and instructions, evaluate engineering and policy to provide interpretation, conflicting and inadequate guidance.

Assist with documentation of program files, organization and provide administrative support to include support resources such as CE DASH requests.

Evaluate emerging technologies, industry best practices and recommend alternative solutions to include specifications, cost estimates, performance, applicability of methods, initial methodology development and life cycle cost analysis.

[Estimated tasks include assisting with evaluation, documentation, and troubleshooting of 300-400 technical problems annually; performing 700-900 RPIE and/or EAID reviews annually; completing 10-15 trips for assistance annually, providing 45-60 criteria development and engineering document reviews annually (CDRLA002); assisting with 10-15 training presentations annually; providing assistance and responses to ]{light="" nova="" rockwell=""}
