Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida
Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves managing and processing high volume invoices for multiple entities, interacting with property managers and vendors, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. This position is a permanent employment opportunity within the real estate investment industry.
Responsibilities:
• Input new vendors and obtain necessary documents such as W-9's and certificates of insurance.
• Secure invoice approval and ensure proper coding.
• Efficiently manage the AP email inbox, answering queries regarding billing.
• Perform, review, and manage the entire accounts payable process.
• Responsible for the check run process and issuing checks.
• Manage all property utilities and back bills.
• Maintain accurate records of legal tracking reports.
• Keep a log of outstanding checks.
• Assist with annual 1099’s.
• Interact with property managers and vendors across divisions.
Skills Required:
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of IRS W-9 Forms
• Experience in Check Runs
• Familiarity with Form 1099. Requirements • Must possess at least 3 years of relevant experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures
• Familiarity with IRS W-9 Forms
• Demonstrated experience in managing check runs
• Proficient in Form 1099 procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality with sensitive information.
