Job Description:

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville (UF COM-J), seeks a full-time experienced Board-Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist faculty member at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. Successful candidates must be fellowship trained in hematopathology and have experience in surgical pathology experience. Major responsibilities include sign-out of hematopathology and surgical pathology cases as well as resident education, and research. Candidates should possess excellent teaching skills and have a strong interest and commitment to teaching. Candidates must possess an MD degree or equivalent and be qualified for an unrestricted physician license in Florida.

UF COM-J physicians offer primary care and specialty services in practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, tallying more than 650,000 outpatient visits and more than 40,000 inpatient admissions annually.

Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable; commensurate with experience and qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates should have a MD degree or equivalent. Candidates must be Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with additional fellowship training and board certification in hematopathology.

Preferred Qualifications:BE/BC is preferred
