JOB REQUIREMENTS: Lead a skilled team in the fiberglass fabrication department, to meet project timelines, safety guidelines, and high-quality standards for theme construction. Mentor and coach team members while fostering a culture of professionalism, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Conduct quality inspections of fiberglass constructions, ensuring alignment of artistic vision and structural integrity. Collaborate with the art director to achieve aesthetic excellence while maintaining practical construction practices. Promptly resolve any challenges by working with production directors and suppliers. Regularly review and optimize fabrication processes and techniques. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Supervisory experience in the theme construction or related industry is required. Related work experience is required; preferably 4 or more years; along with a solid understanding of fiberglass fabrication techniques. Effective leadership and team management skills including motivating others. Ability to promote and implement organizational policies and procedures. Strong reasoning skills to analyze problems and identify solutions. Ability to multitask and adapt to changing project requirements. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and related equipment. Chopper gun experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprints.
