BankPlus Loan Portfolio Reporting and Data Analyst 1832 in Jackson, Mississippi

This Position is for a Loan Portfolio Reporting and Data Analyst -- Admin with a bank location in Ridgeland, MS.

Summary: Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining standardized and ad-hoc reporting with large data sets using multiple systems for reporting and risk management purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities include: Develop comprehensive Microsoft Power BI Dashboards and reports, including but not limited to, specialized portfolio dashboards and reports used by executive management, the Board of Directors, Financial Accounting, internal auditors and external auditors. Assist the Loan Portfolio Analyst with analysis of portfolio credit risk. Develop processes to audit and resolve data integrity issues that are used to improve data quality, productivity, and efficiency. Manage special projects and develop ad hoc reports. Research and monitor various loan reports. Work with lenders and others to obtain updated information to support special projects. Assist with report preparation for the annual FDIC/State Examination. Assist with preparation both internal and external reports (e.g., Call Report, SEC reporting, etc.). Attend meetings and training as requested. Perform other duties as requested. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank's standard of conduct. Participate in the bank's High-Performance Connections program. Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.

Requirements and Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field required. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Power BI or related software is strongly preferred. General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook. Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred. Experience with Cognos or other report writing software preferred.[]{#_Hlk68262721} Strong analytical and technical skills. Working knowledge of commercial lending with experience with loan origination, documentation, and administration processes preferred. Familiar with Instructions for Preparation of Call Report preferred. Familiar with banking regulations preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Extensive reading as needed. Affinity for technology and ability to effectively communicate with business and technology teams. Strong attention to detail. High standard of integrity. Outstanding customer service with internal and external customers. Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary. Must pass a background check to include pre-employment substance abuse testing.
