IVINS CITY Animal Shelter Worker in IVINS, Utah
PART-TIME, NON-EXEMPT, NON-BENEFITTED
GENERAL PURPOSE
Performs animal care tasks and technical services relating to the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the animal shelter. Provides for the health, welfare, care, and wellbeing of all animals at the shelter, and maintains a clean and disease-free facility for all impounded or owner surrendered animals.
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND FUNCTIONS
Ø High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ø One (1) year of experience/training preferred.
Ø Must have a Utah driver's license.
Ø Provides information to the public. Assists in public education regarding animal control issues and other related information.
Ø Feeds, waters, and provides continuous care for impounded animals.
Ø Performs routine maintenance and groundskeeping duties at the animal shelter facility and surrounding area.
