Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Maintenance Electrician Level 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located at the Iuka, MS site .
Role Description & Responsibilities:
This individual will be performing facility modifications and improvements in office and production areas. Focus will be on adding or relocating point of use electrical power (110V, 208V, and 480V), electrical disconnects, electrical panels, network lines (CAT 6E and fiber), security systems, and electrical connections to new equipment in the facility.
Job Duties:
Perform electrical modifications and new installations.
Installing, terminating, and certifying copper network services.
Job activities align with that of a certified electrician.
Other duties to support Maintenance Team as assigned.
Piping and plumbing of vacuum and pneumatic systems.
Lead small team in executing day to day buildouts and projects.
Basic Qualifications:
Maintenance Electrician Level 3:
High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of additional education and/or related experience.
Experience with electrical installations.
Experience with data system installations.
Ability to be flexible to occasionally work off shifts and weekends when required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance .
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
Ability to support a 5/9 work schedule (Monday – Friday, Day Shift)
Maintenance Electrician Level 4:
High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of additional education and/or related experience.
Journeyman certification
Experience with data system installations.
Experience with leading previous teams or in a leadership role.
Ability to be flexible to occasionally work off shifts and weekends when required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance .
Ability to support a 5/9 work schedule (Monday – Friday, Day Shift)
Preferred Qualifications:
Very comfortable working on computers – Maximo and Service now experience.
Ability to Lead a team.
Hands-on experience with electrical construction, tools, and installation design.
Strong experience with NEC and Mississippi state building code.
Ability to read drawings, specifications, building codes, and electrical schedules.
Ability to read One Line diagrams.
Ability to redline electrical drawings with as-built changes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members to complete assigned tasks.
Ability and willingness to gain knowledge through training.
Experience with AutoCAD or Revit to view construction drawings.
Active, In scope DoD Secret clearance
BICSI certification for copper or fiber.
Experience with network design and installation of copper and fiber systems. This includes termination of fiber cabling.
Salary Range: $51,500 - $85,900
Salary Range 2: $61,200 - $102,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
