Momentive Performance Materials Inc. Quality Control Technician I in Itatiba, Brazil

Job Title: Quality Control Technician I

Summary:Perform chemical and physical control of products and raw materials ensuring that they are within the specifications of the company

Responsibilities Include:

Performs internal calibration of equipment according to procedures;

Assists in the management of products controlled by the federal and civil police and army;

Analyzes the product, identifying whether it is released for consumption or sale and after analysis, releases the material electronically in the SAP system;

Prepares and standardizes the control of analytical solutions used daily in chemical analysis;

Performs physical-chemical analyzes on raw materials, products in process, finished products and industrial effluents;

Assists in the control of original certificates issued by suppliers;

Insert and update data in the computerized system for issuing Certificates of Analysis, issued on billing;

Performs control of the retention samples room and waste disposal control;

Performs performance and performance tests on polyurethane foams

Assists in revising raw material specifications based on information from Application Lab., Process Engineering and / or Sales;

Comply with all normative and internal EHS and Quality requirements.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

At least the Technical Education preferably in Chemistry or related areas

Minimum experience of 1 year in Quality Control environment

Technical knowledge in laboratory equipment
