Position Summary :

As a Business Insights & Performance Manager, part of the CMIA team (Consumer, Marketplace Insights and Analytics) , you will be responsible for Market and Competitive Intelligence in Europe. You will manage and provide actionable analysis & forward-looking insights to support NW Z-EUR growth, by leveraging all sources of syndicated data and driving analytics programs.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the FMCG.

A day in a life of a Business Insights & Performance manager :

  • Monitors trends, competition, analyses performance metrics and consumer behaviors (Retail & Out-Of-Home sales, growth drivers, HHP,…) and estimates business opportunities.

  • Maintains, creates business information systems and harmonizes further data collection / management to facilitate the use of consumer & competitive data above market.

  • Provides reports that bring together data from different sources, markets and delivers an integrated view of business performance & recommendations on how to improve in the NW category and represents Category CMIA at the monthly Senior Leadership Team.

  • Monitors performance of recently launched products, supports identification and tracking of new industry trends and translates them into business opportunities.

  • Collaborates with markets to harmonize & integrate local data, improves analysis and shares best practice for replicating successful initiatives across markets.

  • Drives category growth by setting up and scaling analytics programs for media, marketing (MMM), price elasticity and leads predictive analysis to help in planning.

  • Interacts with internal Nestle shared services (Analytics Service Line & Integrated Business Services teams), Nestlé Zone (House of Digital, Cx, Media, Brand, Finance, CDT teams), Nestlé in Markets and external partners to bring further efficiencies.

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science or Statistics.

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in syndicated research gained in the FMCG industry and syndicated data supplier (Nielsen, Circana, GfK).

  • Experience in working in Nielsen GTC or similar platform and with PowerBI/Tableau or similar tools.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data from different sources (Nielsen, Circana, GfK, GlobalData, Kantar, Euromonitor, Mintel,…) to have the best view of the category and channels (including Out-of-Home and eCommerce).

  • Experience in building and managing database management systems and reporting tools.

  • Experience in data analytics and developing models and scenarios.

  • Cultural agility and curiosity.

  • Communicate Insights with impact.

  • Fluent in English.
