Job Description: Technical Solutions Specialist/Sr. Technical Support
Pay Rate: 28/hr on W2
Duration:24 Months on W2

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team and contribute intermediate-level expertise to solve a variety of common business and technical challenges. The ideal candidate will work on moderately complex issues, providing informed analysis and limited project direction input while exercising independent judgment within established practices and procedures. This role involves creating solutions, resolving technical incidents, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply technical knowledge to operate and support technology areas such as server administration, technical security management, or performance management with moderate risk and complexity.
Integrate technical expertise with business understanding to create customer-focused solutions.
Resolve most technical incidents independently and collaborate with team members to address more complex or cross-technology issues.
Proactively identify potential escalations, alert management, and contribute to escalation resolution.
Deliver solutions to prevent recurring problems in the area of responsibility.
Utilize HP solutions to address moderately complex customer needs within technical responsibilities.
Balance internal business objectives with customer requirements within defined parameters.
Identify opportunities for additional services that could generate future service revenue growth.
Provide technical consulting support during contract renewals and build strong relationships with management in assigned accounts.
Drive customer expectation management during escalations and ensure proactive communication.
Manage small projects or programs within the team and suggest operational efficiencies.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; an associate degree in a technical field with 4–6 years of related experience will also be considered.
Knowledge and Skills:
Broad knowledge of HP products, services, and offerings.
Basic understanding of corporate organization, job roles, and policies.
Comprehensive business, technical, or functional knowledge.
Proficiency in core technical competencies such as operating systems, networking, and core HP applications.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at technical, first-level, and middle-level management.
Active listening skills and the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
Problem-solving expertise with proactive, reactive, and creative approaches.
Capability to identify priorities, evaluate alternative actions, and implement practical solutions.
Solid technical background or understanding to facilitate effective communication with customers and technicians.
Basic project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to identify and recommend operational efficiencies.
