Here you will be responsible for design, integration, and verification of a wide array of circuit board designs for ultrasound systems, transducers, and catheters. This is an onsite role in our Issaquah, Washington office. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Electrical Engineer , your responsibilities will include: * Work with other engineering teams to create circuit board design requirements and specifications. * Own circuit board schematic designs and drive board layout, assembly, and testing of the hardware. * Participate in design integration activities with cross-functional engineering teams. * Perform root cause failure analysis and implement changes to improve yield, performance, reliability, and manufacturability of our designs. * You will work in a welcoming environment with experts across many electrical engineering disciplines and participate in knowledge sharing activities. * Occasional off-site travel in support of development or problem investigation activities (5%). Required education and skills to have for the success of this role: * Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering and 5+ years of experience with high-speed digital and/or analog circuit and printed circuit board design. * Good documentation skills and attention to detail in order to support regulatory requirements. * Familiarity with schematic capture tools (Mentor Graphics preferred) and PCB layout tools (Cadence Allegro or similar). * Experience with specifying circuit board stack-up, layout requirements, and layout constraints. * Familiarity with EMI/EMC design best practices. * Medical device design experience and basic understanding of regulatory requirements for medical device design control and manufacturing is beneficial. The pay range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is 8% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
