In this crucial role, you will supervise several Adult Home Care Aides, and you will also assist the house residents in developing independent living skills to increase their self-sufficiency, self-esteem, and self-worth.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESSupervision of Adult HomeOperation of Adult Home in compliance with applicable laws and regulationsRecruitment and general supervision of staff and volunteersSupervision of Resident Services, including acting as Case Manager and Activities Director of the Adult HomeAdmission, transfer and discharge of residentsCoordination with and development of community activities and services for residentsMaintenance of positive community relationsProtection of Resident's rights and development of appropriate mechanisms for their protectionMaintenance of a system to enable residents to present grievances or recommendations regarding facility operations and programsHave had training to carry out assignments and take care of emergencies and sudden illnesses of residents.All other duties as assignedIf you're passionate about making a difference and contributing to our mission, we want to hear from you. Apply now and make your career as meaningful as our mission!RequirementsAssociate's Degree in Human Services related field required3 years' experience working with individuals in human services field3 years supervisory experience in human services related fieldPhysical Requirements: Sits, stands, stoops, squats, walks, and moves intermittently during work hours, may push or pull 10-15 pounds daily, may push or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.A valid NYS Driver's License in good standingSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm with on call scheduleLocation: Bayport, NYFull Benefits Package including Medical, Company-Paid Dental and Vision Single Coverage.
