WorkSource Oregon Temporary Scanning Clerk in ISLAND CITY, Oregon

The Temporary Scanning Clerk is responsible for producing digital copies of agency documents for retention purposes. This includes preparing and scanning confidential documents, organizing said documents on internal network and disposing of documents in an appropriate manner that ensures confidentiality. The scanning clerk is a part-time (19 hours) position. Qualifications: * High School Graduate or Equivalent * Proficiency with operating office equipment such as computers, scanners, and shredders. * Pass all employer criminal history check requirements and drug screening. Job Duties: * Prepare and scan various confidential documents, for electronic retention purposes. * Maintain scanners for optimum performance and proper resolution of documents. * Process and organize scanned documents in various formats for retention on network and local drives. * Properly dispose of scanned materials. * Understand and comply with HIPAA rules and regulations. * Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI). * Other duties as assigned.
