Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware and software. Define, design and develop algorithms and software in projects, which involve research and software development in Machine Learning. Quantitative analytics for use in a variety of areas related to advertising technology but not limited to applications such as user modeling and profiling, user targeting, user recommendation, product recommendation, and media and content analysis. Conduct data analysis to gain a deep understanding of raw source data and derived data. Building out data sets and models using Machine Learning techniques for testing and production. Software development and architecture design in highly scalable and distributed computing environment for product ionization at scale of Machine Learning algorithms and models for use in advertising technology. Conduct original research in the fields of Machine Learning, statistical modeling, and optimization. Lead projects and collaboration with team and organizational stakeholders and contributors and bring research to production. Presentation, visualization, and documentation of the data sets and models created by the Machine Learning platforms.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field, followed by one year of experience in the job offered or one year of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Experience must include one year in each of the following:
Developing Machine Learning algorithms and techniques
Scala
Python
Spark
Hive
SQL
Software development and testing for data processing and machine learning
Data Analysis
Designing, building, and using databases utilizing Hadoop
Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
