The Senior MECM Operations Lead is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap

  • Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals

  • Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements

  • Recommend product customization for system integration

  • Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes

  • Exhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products and services

  • Advise or mentor junior team members

  • Impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role

  • SCCM/ConfigMgr Expertise :

  • Extensive experience with SCCM/ConfigMgr, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.

  • Knowledge of SCCM architecture, including Central Administration Sites (CAS), primary sites, secondary sites, and distribution points.

  • Proficiency in creating and managing SCCM packages, applications, and task sequences.

  • Understanding of patch management and software update deployment processes.

  • Experience with operating system deployment (OSD) using SCCM.

  • Infrastructure and Networking :

  • Strong understanding of Windows Server architecture and administration.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core network services.

  • Familiarity with SQL Server, including SQL queries and database maintenance related to SCCM.

  • Scripting and Automation :

  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating SCCM tasks and system management.

  • Security and Compliance :

  • Understanding of security best practices in a large enterprise environment.

  • Experience with compliance and auditing processes, including SCCM compliance settings and Desired Configuration Management (DCM).

  • Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting :

  • Ability to monitor and optimize SCCM infrastructure performance.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex SCCM and client issues.

  • Team Leadership :

  • Proven experience leading technical teams, including task delegation, performance management, and mentoring.

  • Ability to drive projects and initiatives from conception to completion.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Project Management :

  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

  • Ability to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.

  • Cloud Integration :

  • Knowledge of cloud services and integration with SCCM (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory).

  • Experience with hybrid environments combining on-premises and cloud-based solutions.

  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management :

  • Ability to manage relationships with vendors and third-party service providers.

  • Experience in negotiating contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices.

  • Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams.

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

  • Proven track record of operational process change and improvement.

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
