We are searching for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Controlling team in our Irving, Texas North American headquarters.

What you’ll get to do

  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual Close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries, in accordance with the company's direction and regional reporting requirements

  • Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations. Maintain supporting schedules. Reconcile discrepancies

  • Assistance with lease accounting, internal controls and other reporting tasks

  • Perform special projects and analysis as directed, including purchase price allocation for acquisitions, ESG reporting and Government Grants

  • Assist team with the annual external audit

  • Assist in the development and implementation of process initiatives related to month end close, financial reporting, and business operations

  • Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience

  • Understanding of accounting theory, current accounting issues, and accounting systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively with various departments throughout the organization

  • A proven track record in managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively as part of a team

  • Commitment and engagement through high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company, demonstrated drive and initiative

  • Performance and result management

  • Demonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability

  • Ability to analyze business conditions and build partnerships across functions

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/priorities

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills

  • Ability to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organization

  • Understanding of financial statements and accounting relationships

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred

  • Public accounting experience is preferred

  • Experience and knowledge with IFRS is a plus

  • Experience with SAP and Essbase is a plus
