Citigroup Master and Reference Data Strategy Sr Analyst - C12 (Hybrid) in Irving, Texas
The Master and Reference Data Strategy Sr Analyst is responsible for facilitating day to day activities to support the strategic evolution and/or adoption of Master and Reference Data in coordination with the Data Governance team. The overall objective is to support the creation, maintenance and adoption of a unified and consistently defined fit-for-purpose enterprise-wide Master and Reference Data domains.
The Enterprise Data Office Master & Reference Data Adoption Enablement team plays a critical role in Citi’s Transformation Initiatives with responsibility for leading the adoption of Master and Reference data strategy across Citi.
The Reference Data Adoption AVP will partner with lines of business and global functions to execute the Reference Data adoption strategy focused on particular domains such as Product and Financial Instrument
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain project artifacts including impact assessments and business requirement documents
Perform data and business analysis where required
Support the adoption of the Enterprise Master & Reference Data Strategy
Understand and actively manage key program/project deliverables and interdependencies to ensure execution.
Work with line-of-business, Risk and Finance functions to document the current state of Master and Reference Data, identify the target state, and plan adoption initiatives.
Advocate for adoption of Master and Reference standards and remediation of data quality issues at source.
Develop a deep understanding of Reference data domains and taxonomies as well as their end-to-end use cases.
Continuously monitor and report adoption status across a federated portfolio of programs and projects.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred
Understanding of Master and Reference data management practices
Experience with Data Governance or Data Management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience generating process documentation and reports
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, identify dependencies and negotiate solutions
Strong communication skills, ability to deliver key messaging across a varied group of stakeholders
Experience with change management using a structured project methodology to successfully plan and track projects
Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Education:
