Wells Fargo Lead Finance Analyst - Technology Financial Planning & Analysis in IRVING, Texas

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analysis to be part of the Technology Financial Planning & Analysis Team. As part of this team, you will support budgeting, forecasting and monthly close for the Global Technology organization.

The individual should be skilled in driver-based reporting, forecasting, financial data analysis, and scenario modeling to drive actionable insight. The function requires strong influencing skills and provides the opportunity to demonstrate thought leadership to senior management.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with seasoned financial professionals across teams and functions to create management information for senior management to aid in understanding the Global Technology expense base and the associated drivers.

  • Partner with leadership to develop long-term strategic plans, financial targets and goals aligned to business strategies

  • Develop high quality presentations and executive level summaries for senior leadership supplemented by fellow FP&A team inputs and analysis

  • Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance

  • Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning

  • Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation

  • Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards

  • Lead implementation of the most complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide

  • Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading transformational initiatives

  • Strong excel data modeling and analysis skills

  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting, accounting, analytics within banking/financial services industry

  • Prior experience consulting, influencing, and partnering with senior business leaders

  • Experience developing and presenting executive level strategic presentations

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsExperience in using and manipulating large amounts of data including the ability to build reporting within tools, i.e. PowerBI and Alteryx

Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $197,500.00
