Description

The Head of Advanced Analytics will be at the forefront of our global consumer bank’s current big data transformation. He/she is responsible for defining our vision, strategy, and global roadmap in this domain for the next few years whilst identifying the required initiatives for execution which she/he will lead upon. He/she will build up a team of subject matter technical experts for the delivery of this global roadmap. Our leader will oversee and own the successful global execution of the initiatives with other relevant teams in our wider data and analytics organization. This AI/ML practitioner, thought leader, and Subject Matter Expert will define, curate, source and build new competitive and innovative solutions/technologies (developed in-house or adopted from external) to enable growth/monetization opportunities from our existing and new external data sources for across all our lines of businesses.

This individual will own initiatives of the highest strategic priority and will need to be equally competent in both risk- as well as relationship-management. With his/her teams, this leader will leverage advanced analytics to deliver insights utilizing latest techniques and solutions that inform various R&D efforts and drive customer journey redesign. The thought leadership and team execution provided by this role will span across the entire globe to cater to demand for all our regional Heads of Data Services and their teams covering all lines of businesses.

This leader will partner with the Decision Management Teams placed in the business as well as our own data teams in operations and technology and any other stakeholders to create bespoke solution frameworks, pilot new AI/ML technologies via initial Proof of Concepts/pilots followed by full roll-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish thought leadership, initiate and drivenew AI/ML technology solution experimentation with the business andimplementations.

  • Leveraging the in-business analytics teams,initiate and drive the continuous development of the global analyticalcommunity to prompt and pioneer knowledge and asset exchanges to drive businessgrowth including.

  • Source and Design effective next gen AI/ML andadvanced analytics solutions to curate new innovate, customer-centric dataproducts for our customers and generally supporting analytical activities andcustomer experience personalization for all customer channels.

  • Build a progressive, industry-leading global centerof excellence for advanced analytics, AI/ML to lead collaborations and exchangeson solutions and knowledge with relevant teams in Global Consumer Bank andInvestment/corporate bank also.

  • Define and lead the identification + use of newexternal data sources for next gen personalized consumer products and solutionsat scale for all our global businesses.

  • Have deep technical knowledge and experience inblockchain technology (ideally via previous successful projects performed) andhave an established network of practitioners to pull expertise and resourcesfrom for our experiments.

  • Define new set of disruptive blockchain-driven +customer-centric solutions for us to experiment and pilot with customers with adefined roadmap and plan for industrialization.

  • Spearhead new advanced analytics and modelingsolutions to drive next gen actionable insights for various business areas.

  • Initiate and implement new measurementmethodologies and scorecards to track omni channel user behavior, generalbusiness impact as well as productivity of our own team's analyticalactivities.

  • Pioneer new analytics use cases touching our customersto add value in their lives through unconventional use of unstructured and real-timedata across the firm.

  • Proactively define success and KPIs withstakeholder buy-in/sign off ahead of initiative kick-off.

  • Champion common processes across multiple teams andproducts.

  • Form working and collaborative relationships withTechnology and Data, where necessary, to plan and achieve the Global strategy.

  • Provide solutions to overcome existinginefficiencies or cost prohibitive processes.

  • Determines, identifies and collects appropriatemetrics to measure the impact and ROI of the specific program/projecttransformation on the business.

Qualifications

6-10 yrs experience of the following:

  • Hands-on experience delivering products orsolutions that utilized Deep learning, Machine learning, natural languageprocessing or other forms of AI solutions like computer vision.

  • Experience in machine learning areas such asrecommendation systems, NLP, pattern recognition, predictive modeling,Artificial Intelligence.

  • Experience implementing machine learning algorithmssuch as support vector machines, decision trees, logistic regression,clustering, neural networks, graphical models etc.

  • Mastering spark

  • Proficient in modeling in Python (e.g. Bokeh)

  • Open source real-time decisioning engine solutionand complex event processing

  • Highly skilled in Python and preferably in one ormore programming languages like C++, Java or Go.

  • Fluent in one or more of the machine learning ordeep learning tools and libraries (i.e. TensorFlow, Keras, Theano, etc).

  • Fluent in one or more NLP libraries (i.e. spaCy,NLTK, etc).

  • Experience with 3rd party NLU engines likeDialogflow, LUIS, Rasa, etc.

  • Latest technical skills the candidates need tomaster: e.g. Python, R, Spark, Kafka, Java.

  • Managing and executing on complex digital/bigdata/software projects and processes.

  • Exceptional experience in agile execution,systematic implementation of best in class modeling practices andoperationalization, model management.

  • Track record in displaying customer obsession withwork towards continuous customer experience innovation and customer growth.

  • Expert in being a story teller from data, digitallysavvy with the ability to synthesize large amounts of insights to tell arelevant story.

  • Strong quantitative and critical thinking skillscombined with creativity to ideate and pursue new customer growth and newcustomer experience improvement opportunities.

  • Strong ability to influence and communicate withstakeholders across functions and at all levels (business, technology,operations, executives, other data and analytics peers and staff).

  • Proven executive communication skills, both verbaland written, with ability to present to varied and large audiences with varyinglevels of understanding of the big data world.

  • Proven change management capability and having beena change leader.

  • Capable of navigating in dynamic and yet large,complex corporate environments.

  • Track record of intra-preneurship inside a biggerorganization, where individual led a new initiative from idea to fullproductionization in 60-90 days.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or ProgramManagement Professional (PgMP) certification a plus

Education

  • Masters at least but preferably PhD with preferredconcentrations in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Real-time analytics, DataMining, Math, Statistics, Economics or similar deeply quantitative disciplines.
