The Role:

CCB business is dramatically transforming its product platforms to deliver the best digital banking platform experience for commercial clients. We are reimagining how commercial banking is conducted today by digitally enabling key interactions as well as offering clients innovative solutions that increase their efficiency and profitability, and allows them to focus on growing their business. Co-creation with our clients is an integral part of our CCB platform digital transformation journey. It is a core method to our client-centric product design and development.

The Global Digital Senior Product Manager at CCB will be focused on expanding the CCB Client Platform Entitlement and Authentication Capabilities. They will be responsible to develop comprehensive strategies tailored to the Commercial client Persona, ensuring that platform capability entitlements journey fits varying client needs – from simple to complex. In addition to Entitlements, the role will also entail crafting strategy for authentication of CCB users. The person will play a crucial role in understanding and implementing the latest technologies and safety standards within authentication domain. By staying abreast of advancements in authentication technologies, you’ll enhance the safety and usability of our transaction platform, ensuring that it remains both secure and user friendly. The person will leverage Design Thinking principles to create a seamless, simple and intuitive digital experience for our clients’ banking journeys.

The Global Digital Senior Product Manager will actively participate in the development of our Entitlement and Global Authentication roadmap, produce hypothesis to be validated by User Research Team, translate requirements into product backlog, user feedback into UI / UX design. The Global Senior Product Manager will also work closely with senior management, scrum teams and technology leads to align our engagement and activities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Partners with the CCB Client Experience team to incorporate client discovery throughout the product development lifecycle, lead UI/UX development, including ongoing client testing, tests & validates hypotheses

  • Partners with technology to develop streamlined data architecture

  • Partners with service and operations to develop, agree & implement new operating models

  • Partners with Global Corporate product partners to normalize and harmonize platform experiences allowing the optimum path for Commercial clients’ growth, including deepening global reach and leveraging more complex Treasury & Trade products and services.

  • Drives global product implementation

  • Plans and coordinates product deployment readiness activities for new journeys and subsequent journey enhancements

  • Manages the development of product backlog

  • Provides oversight of user acceptance testing (UAT) & perform business production testing.

  • Manages communications with Citi stakeholders;

  • Drives and inputs into adoption and commercialization

  • Ensure all product/client journey risks are identified, mitigated or appropriate controls are in place

  • Ensures active collaboration with oversight partners (Legal, Compliance, Risk, etc.) and all necessary approvals are obtained.

  • Partners with Technology, Business SMEs to validate requirements and ensure solution feasibility

  • Partners with Product Marketing on the Regional Go-To-Market strategy (e.g. pilot, roll out approach) and Commercialization

  • Analyses client feedback and analytics to report on OKRs and develop the product backlog

Key Skills include:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of successfully working with Commercial and/or Corporate platforms , with proven track record of driving digital transactions through desktop applications or mobile applications

  • Experience with Commercial and/or Corporate client entitlements, approval flows, user management and system administration.

  • Proficiency in authentication trends such as multifactor authentication, passwordless sign on methodologies(FIDO 2) and biometric authentication

  • Solid knowledge of best in class UX / UI experiences.

  • Experience leading client centric design processes; supporting and managing research, client testing and iterative design

  • Experience working with Agile methodology

  • Experience working in Figma software, developing journey maps and wireframes

  • Experience in shaping digital transformations by applying Design Thinking principles

  • Experience in managing a product development team, managing capacity and prioritizing tasks

  • Forward compatibility attributes: adaptable, bold, curious, collaborative, determined, proactive and empathetic

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – must be able to “sell” to others and easily summarize & simplify complex concepts

  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of seniority across a matrixed organization

  • Proficient problem solver, can remove obstacles with minimal involvement from seniors

  • Has a sense of urgency, thrives in a rapidly evolving environment

Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience developing user experiences and driving their adoption

  • Experience in D2C product development , as a product owner

  • Previous experience of digital product UX / UI digital client experience within financial services

Experience leading workshops with stakeholders, design & technology to develop product vision

  • Experience with Design Thinking principles, roadmap curation, mapping journeys, identifying user pain points, developing assumptions for validating and writing user stories for designs and client validation

  • Experienced in using Jira software to create user stories and manage product backlogs and roadmaps

  • Experienced in data flow mapping, working closely with technology partners to develop technical architecture to meet requirements

  • Experienced in using platform analytics software to analyze usage data

  • Bachelor’s Degree/MBA
