The Role:

The Cybersecurity & Risk Reporting - Senior Application Manager involves product management of Information Security (IS) reporting and analytics platform, analysis of IS key indicators and IS topics, automating the data feeds in collaboration with Technology partners, and working on Cognos BI Platform in the reports production and Quality Control (QC) for Global Information Security under the CISO.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage product features of CISO Business View application in collaboration with the Technology App Dev team and QC testing team

  • Perform the periodic operational tasks required to maintain CISO Business View application such as access approvals, green zones, monthly Metrics availability announcements, upkeep of the IS data and key indicator data, etc.

  • Field user questions and provide customer service to users and entertain product improvement discussions with various stakeholders

  • Work with Technology App Dev team and IS Program Teams to create automation of feeds that feed IS risk data to the CISO Business View application

  • Write BRDs and perform UAT testing on the feeds implemented by the Technology App Dev team and promote them into Production upon satisfactory testing.

  • Perform QC on others' reports for both formatting and data issues with the ability able to look at the source data and compare it with the PDF reports and spot discrepancies or other issues

  • Produce reports and participate in the monthly IS reporting cycle operations as needed

  • Perform data analysis using Excel and Access Presentation skills to then present the reports, data analysis artifacts, BRDs, and project plans to stakeholders in clear and easily understood format (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word or PDF documents)

  • Directly manage and mentor analysts to support ongoing project work

  • Work on CISO Metrics related projects: Work on assigned projects which generally involve the above areas

Qualifications

  • 8+ years' experience in Application Product Management and/or Application Development in Financial Services industry with 2+ years' experience directly managing

  • Recent experience in IS and/or IT Risk Management

  • Web-based application development experience

  • Strong IS experience with IS metrics and the ability to understand IS key indicators, their significance, and inter-relationships

  • Strong Project/Product Management skills are

  • Experience with Dashboarding design and Application Product Management

  • Must be able to write Business requirements (BRDs) and manage release process through the standard SDLC

  • Experience working with data modeling, management, reporting, and generation

  • Detailed understanding of latest data technologies, UI/UX and solutions towards how to help solve next generation business needs

  • Experience authoring reports, working with data feeds and any of their automation, and familiarity with the Cognos platform are all a big plus

  • Strong organization, drive, and desire to deliver the best results

  • Adept at multitasking and time management with the ability to function well under pressure and in alignment to deadlines

  • Ability to read, understand, hold review sessions, and approve FRDs

  • Ability to write user guides, effective BRDs, and be able to visualize various usage scenarios

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience

  • Masters in Data Science or related field preferred

  • Any industry accredited Information Security certifications are a plus
