Job Title: Production Material Handler
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing in-process inspections, quality checks, and operating laundry equipment, among other tasks. This role requires adherence to strict safety regulations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Perform in-process inspections and quality checks for product defects.
Clean machines and equipment.
Ensure proper packaging and labeling of products with the assistance of automatic packing equipment.
Operate laundry equipment.
Assist other workers in moving carts and operating lift equipment.
Work at machine-based speed.
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.
Maintain attendance in accordance with the Client’s Attendance Policy.
Work mandatory overtime as required, often on short notice.
Essential Skills
Quick learning ability to adapt to unique Quality systems (GDP/GMP).
Capability of working independently and handling fast-paced work environments.
Understanding and experience with ERP systems (GME for inventory management).
Ability to look up inventory, report scrap, request material, and reconcile discrepancies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
History of steady and reliable work experience preferred.
Manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
Basic math skills.
Good communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Must not be allergic to Cephalosporins or Penicillin.

Work Environment
The work environment is a cleanroom setting. The role requires frequent sitting, walking, standing, bending, and squatting. You will be frequently reaching between waist and shoulder level, with occasional reaching up and out. The job involves repetitive grasping and movement of hands and fingers. The dress code adheres to cleanroom standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.20 - $20.20/hr.
