Insight Global Cyber Security Consultant-Part Time in Irvine, California
Job Description
An industry-leading insurance company, in partnership with Insight Global, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join their M&A Technology and Cyber Transaction Advisory team. This team works with acquired private equity firms to assess, analyze, and report on the state of the IT Infrastructure and cyber security systems said companies use. This expert consultant will work in a fully remote, flexible role, working at their own pace and in their preferred environment. The position requires availability for 3-hour introductory calls during client operations of business. The majority of work will be completed independently; report writing will constitute at least half of the role, focusing on the state of the cyber security systems, IT infrastructure, compliance, and cybersecurity risk frameworks. The consultant will interact with high-level IT professionals from private equity clients, responsible for infrastructure and cybersecurity. A strong IT background and the ability to communicate advanced and coherent reports are essential. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and strong stakeholder communication skills, enabling them to excel in this role. Further, candidates should have experience designing cyber environments in order to communicate desired results. This will lead to clear articulation and findings for the business. Major responsibilities include reporting to the internal team, participating in calls to discuss client feedback, and shifting focus to cyber needs, auditing, analyzing and observing systems in order to writing present the reports. We are looking for someone who has transitioned from technical roles to C-suite level responsibilities, capable of quickly assessing cyber security infrastructure and providing strategic insights.

Skills and Requirements
10+ years of experience in a design or architect role within the Cyber security space
Ability to audit, interpret and report on cybersecurity systems and business applications: Examples include, intrusion detection and prevention, encryption and antivirus solutions, cloud security, risk analysis and management, compliance and regulatory knowledge, incident response, and technical communication.
Proficient Stakeholder Management and technological reporting skills; the ability to effectively communicate results from audits, investigations, and findings
Skillful time manager, self-starter, and team player Senior Architect Background- Designing Cyber Environments
