The Analyst Contracts Management is responsible for the offer development, contract provisions, terms & conditions review, execution, implementation, and administration of commercial contracts in support of US. customer-facing teams. These contracts include but are not limited to pricing agreements for Hospital, IDN’s, and Government, capital equipment agreements, service agreements, evaluation agreements, rental agreements and promotional/program agreements. This position will support pricing initiatives and contract data integrity.

This position will work closely with the Contracts Manager, Contracts, Pricing and Compliance Department, Corporate Accounts and commercial leaders in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and processes.

  • Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Company, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Provides services and support to the U.S. customer-facing teams on contract administration which includes the following:

  • Reviews contract requests and develop offers that meet customer needs and align with commercial strategy.

  • Assist in maintaining and developing various contracting tools in MS Excel, partner and collaborate with sales and marketing when new products and/or new programs need to be added or deleted from the tools.

  • Corresponds with sales representatives to resolve contract issues.

  • Prepares contracts, amendments and notices according to contracting guidelines.

  • Coordinates contracts through their lifecycle (including, but not limited to, system setup, records retention, pricing setup, roster management, letters of commitment, renewal)

  • Works with JJHCS Government Risk Assessment as needed with respect to contracts for federal, state and local government entities.

  • Support audits and compliance testing by providing information and supporting documents.

  • Supports product and marketing program launches, providing subject matter expertise in the area of contract management and execution.

  • Identifies critical pre and post-execution contractual issues and raises them to the appropriate business or legal partners to mitigate, reduce, and eliminate risks for the US business; drives cross-functional team discussions to build consensus and implements the vital resolution of such issues.

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required.

  • A concentration in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, or related field is preferred.

  • A minimum of two (2) years of business experience is required.

  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and ability to self-manage in a complex / time critical environment is required.

  • A minimum of 1 year of contracting, sales marketing, or commercial operations

  • Prior experience working with customer and field sales facing teams is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Sales Force preferred not required.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Toolset including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.

  • Strong communication skills (presentations, listening, written skills) are required.

  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales / customer focused environment is required.

  • Aim to understand business products and offerings, strategies and business objectives is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction is required.

  • Ability to work in a team environment is required.

  • Ability to handle conflicting priorities and meet deadlines is required.

  • Ability to present detail data in a clear and concise manner is required.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiating skills.

  • This position is located in Irvine, CA and requires up to 5% travel.

  • Salary Range: $73,190 - $78,000.
