Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Description
The Accounting Manager manages and reviews the full month-end close, oversees recording of key transactions as the business expands into new product lines and regions, and leads process improvements to integrate accounting procedures with the company’s financial systems. This role will collaborate with individuals in multiple departments such as Financial Planning & Analysis, tax, and operations. The individual will have ownership of their respective general ledger transactions, variance analysis, and process improvements as the business grows in complexity globally. Key responsibilities include managing and analyzing the full month-end close cycle and reporting, owning financial interpretation among business units, overseeing a team of individual contributors, ensuring the application of US GAAP principles, and collaborating globally to build scalable accounting and operational processes.
Hard Skills
Expert knowledge in business unit operations and financial transactions
Proficient in identifying and correcting transaction coding errors
Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and their impact on GL consolidation
Strong Excel skills and experience with large data sets
Experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive/Office Connect
US GAAP proficiency
SOX compliance procedure creation
Soft Skills
Self-motivation and continuous learning
Ability to manage cross-departmental relationships
Strong multitasking and prioritization
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Leadership and mentorship

Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Irvine, California and some days remote.
