The Phoenix Center Therapist or LSW or LPC in Ironton, Ohio

  • Report to the Clinical Director

``` - Conduct Assessments

``` - Determine treatment needs

```{=html}

``` - Facilitate individual, group and/or family sessions, under supervision

```{=html}

``` - Conduct initial assessments as well as follow-up assessments

```{=html}

``` - Work with clients to develop individualized case plans

```{=html}

``` - Write case notes on residents regarding interactions, behaviors, etc. in a timely and clear, concise manner

```{=html}

``` - Monitor and document client's progression with therapy

```{=html}

``` - Communicate information regarding clients to appropriate staff

```{=html}

``` - Participate in weekly Treatment Team Meetings

```{=html}

``` - Create Aftercare plans for clients upon release from care

```{=html}

``` - Act as a liaison for clients with the insurance companies, as requested

```{=html}

``` - Suggest ways to make programming better for the clients

```{=html}

``` - Attend and complete yearly training

```{=html}

``` - Transport clients on occasion to various functions

```{=html}

``` - Compile documentation for yearly audits

```{=html}

``` - Coordinate/communicate with all other departments

```{=html}

``` - Assist in other departments as deemed necessary

```{=html}

``` - Communicate with client's probation officers on progress

```{=html}

``` - Represent The Phoenix Center in court when necessary

```{=html}

``` - All other duties deemed necessary by TPC management

Skills Required:

  • Organization

``` - Time Management

```{=html}

``` - Technology Skills

```{=html}

``` - Communication and Handling Demanding Situations

```{=html}

``` - Must have working knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

```{=html}

``` - Must have Valid Driver's License

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social or Health Services from an accredited college or university

``` - Social Work, Psychology, Counseling

```{=html}

``` - Licensure/Certification or Provisional Licensure/Certification Eligible

```{=html}

``` - LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S
