AP Specialist Category: Admin/HR/Accounting/Finance Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-370767 AP Specialist needed for a contract role with Yoh Scientific's client out of Franklin Furnace, OH. Schedule: 8am-4pm Pay rate:$25 per hour Position Summary: Performs various Accounts Payable functions as detailed below. A successful candidate will be self-starter and be proficient in the Accounts Payable system. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process 1,000+ invoices in the Oracle Cloud ERP system monthly Interact routinely with suppliers, Plant Controllers and plant personnel to resolve issues as they arise Prepare the monthly Accounts Payable accrual Recommend and assist in implementation of improvements to accounting and processing systems Actively participate in quarterly Oracle Cloud ERP testing events Ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned Attend and Report out AP issues / concerns on Plant POD calls Assist other plants AP processing on an as needed basis Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in business related field is preferred Minimum of 5 years relevant Accounts Payable experience Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required Strong analytical skills Strong communication skills, oral and written Strong excel skills and proficient in working efficiently with large amounts of data Ability to research new issues and make recommendations to the group Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
