The Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson seeks an experienced Laboratory Supervisor *to join their team in *Iron Mountain, Michigan.
As a Lab Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory. You'll be responsible for scheduling excellence, timecard management, competency coordination, technical support, and quality assurance collaboration. WHAT WE OFFER.
- $69,867 -- $98,280 annual salary based on experience.

- Full-time Monday-Friday position with start times of 6am, 7am, or as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Oversee quality control, maintenance, inventory, and staffing to ensure smooth lab operations.
- Collaborate with hospital leaders and departments to address concerns and implement improvements.
- Ensure best practices in pre-analytical processes for quality patient results.
- Approve timecards and work with the Lab Manager to meet productivity goals.
- Review QA and regulatory reports and provide action steps as needed.
- Assist with staff on-boarding, orientation, and training.
- Maintain competency in the core lab and cover the bench when needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- ASCP certification or equivalent certification required.
- A professional demeanor that ensures trust and competence amongst team members.
- Possess a strong supervisory aptitude with a proven track record of success in coordinating/participating in daily operations, tracking performance and process improvement.
- Proficiency with computers and basic office software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) including experience with computer-based laboratory information system software.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks/staff simultaneously.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug screening and background check.
