CHS, Inc TA Operations Intern: Recruit Marketing in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota

Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity within our Talent Acquisition team. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Operations Intern who can contribute to the evolution of our current and future recruiting systems and processes. We’re looking for someone who’s always seeking to measure, evaluate, and improve how CHS finds, engages, and recruits talent. This internship will help advance several exciting functions/tools within Talent Acquisition Operations aligned with Recruit Marketing Programs and Systems; recruit marketing solutions, job distribution and analytics, job advertising and candidate engagement methods and employment brand.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with efficiency in a high energy fast paced team environment.

• Recruit Marketing Training and Process Enhancement: Support the training of programs and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in attracting top talent.

• Support Employee Value Proposition Development: Collaborate cross-functionally with to build and enhance the employee value proposition, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand and strategic goals.

• Oversee an audit enhancement project by developing and implementing strategies to enhance the intranet’s careers page including updating content, identifying areas for improvement in terms of user experience and content accuracy.

• Support Recruiting Requests: Design and create engaging hiring flyers, photo ads, and newspaper advertisements using Canva to attract top talent and meet the team’s recruitment needs.

• Manage Online Presence: Reshare company updates on Glassdoor and Indeed, and actively respond to reviews to maintain a positive employer brand and engage with current and potential employees.

• Vendor Relationship Management: Attend quarterly business reviews with vendors to evaluate performance, discuss strategic initiatives, and strengthen partnerships.

• Event Tool Management and Training: Oversee the implementation and management of a new event tool, train the recruiting team on its use, assist in branding the tool, and create comprehensive job aids to ensure effective utilization.

• Career Site Development and Branding: Assist in creating new career site landing pages for events and provide ongoing support for career site branding initiatives to enhance the candidate experience and promote the company’s employer brand. Design a manual chat bot for the site and draft responses to improve user engagement and support.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Human Resources or related degree program with an emphasis in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or Communications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

• Efficient multi-tasking and prioritization skills

• Critical thinking and problem solving

• Previous internship experience in an HR, recruiting or marketing role preferred

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
