POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting our sales team with order processing, trade show preparations, customer relationship building, and collaborating with various teams to drive sales growth. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be the backbone of our sales operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Order Processing:

  • Assist the sales team in processing orders accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate with internal departments such as logistics, inventory, and finance to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product catalog, pricing, and promotional offers to provide accurate information to customers.

Trade Show Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to prepare for trade shows, including logistics, booth setup, and promotional material distribution.

  • Assist in organizing travel arrangements, accommodations, and event registrations for sales representatives attending trade shows.

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of trade show strategies to optimize brand visibility and generate leads.

Customer Relationship Building:

  • Act as a point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers, serving as a trusted advisor and maintaining regular communication to understand their needs.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing customers.

Sales Team Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, generating sales presentations, and maintaining accurate sales records.

  • Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts, budgeting, and goal-setting activities.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of sales strategies.

Sales Growth Initiatives:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to identify opportunities and contribute to initiatives that drive sales growth.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and potential target markets.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales processes, improve customer experience, and enhance overall sales performance.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).

  • Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or related roles.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and collaborate with internal teams.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for trade shows and sales-related events.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Detail oriented

Ability to work independently and on a team

Great written and verbal communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly: Computer Work, walking, sitting, standing

Occasionally: Lifting up to 50 lbs.
