Make a Difference

This position supports the Practice Administrator / Nurse Manager with the daily operations of the practices back office at Cardiac Heart Hospital, particularly with overseeing clinical operations.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving

• 2 year / Associate's Degree with 4 years relevant experience within a healthcare setting with Associate's Degree/ / OR year / Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience within a healthcare setting (preferred)

• 5+ years experience in a healthcare environment in the areas of front office / and/or customer service, with 2 years of front office supervision or lead experience, billing background desired (required)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Practice Management: Supports the Practice Administrator / Nurse Manager in monitoring costs, utilization, and deployment activities by facility. Assures staffing meets department workload and ensures assignments reflect appropriate utilization of personnel, considering scope of practice, competencies, patient needs, and level of care. Coordinates required training and / or educational opportunities for the staff in the office. Maintains information in Kronos. Approval of time off via Kronos in conjunction with departmental guidelines. Exercises discretion within protocols and priorities for balancing staffing needs when multiple priorities / conflicts arise among units needing staffing resources. Identifies facility-specific needs and proactively communicates with Talent Management to recruit staff. Along with the manager, responsible for employees engagement of the team. Maintains responsibility for staff development and competencies necessary to improve organizational performance for assigned areas.

People Development: May conduct performance reviews and provides input on direct reports for human resources decisions such as hiring and promotions. Develops others through coaching, feedback, and opportunities. Aligns career development with business objectives to support the development of team and individual skills and abilities.
