At Creative Works, we design, manufacture, and install high quality products for the location based entertainment market. As a shipping and receiving clerk, you play an integral role in our operations, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products both within our organization and to our clients. With great organization and attention to detail, your role is to manage incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and uphold the standards of efficiency and reliability. Your dedication ensures that our products and projects reach their destinations promptly and securely.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.

  • Handles both inbound and outbound return parts for warranty claims

  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.

  • Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.

  • Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.

  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

  • Ensures loading of materials for shipment are secure and safe for transportation.

  • Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.

  • Dropping next day packages off at UPS or FedEx if missed in normal pickup hours.

Keys to success:

  • Comfortable learning and operating in new software tools such as ERP, MRP, Ticketing softwares, RMA softwares, and Shipping softwares.

  • Well organized both physically and mentally with keeping track of action items, checklists, and keeping the inventory storage locations organized.

  • Problem solving, ability to solve problems and motivation to find answers and look for process improvements to areas that are causing waste.

  • Being personable with great people skills is essential as you work with multiple vendors and partners as well as our various departments

*Qualification Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Work Workspace

  • Past experience with Inventory Management software

  • Minimum of 1 year of inventory management experience

Pay and Benefits:

  • Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt

  • 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday

*This is an onsite position located at our facility on the southwest side of Indianapolis, IN near I-465 and Sam Jones Expressway.
