Lilly Senior Specialist - Maintenance Coordinator - IAPI in Indianapolis, Indiana

Responsibilities:

  • The Sr. Specialist — Maintenance Coordinator acts as a liaison between Operations and Maintenance to ensure maintenance activities are being completed.

  • Ensure work orders meet the required documentation content and assist with equipment failure investigations.

  • Ensure appropriate spare part inventory levels are established to minimize potential business disruptions.

  • Ensure PMS are conducted within established timeframes.

  • Daily plan and schedule all maintenance jobs both immediate and long term. Work with cross functional resources to address, investigate, and resolve equipment related issues.

  • Verify the completion of all required documentation.

  • Request and facilitate work order execution.

  • Facilitate, perform CMMS functions for Operator based PMs.

  • Generate permits to enable work to be executed.

  • Adhere to all safety/environmental requirements (LDAR).

  • Capital projects decisions, drawings and Special projects — Support PAM, COM, and Reliability efforts, etc.

  • Work with Supervision to ensure required staffing is available to complete planned maintenance activities.

  • Ensure work is completed correctly and in a timely fashion.

  • Ensure departmental maintenance budget is at or below plan levels.

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

  • Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

  • CMMS knowledge, computer skills (business applications) and troubleshooting capabilities.

  • GMP manufacturing experience, strong technical skills, organizational and problem solving skills, maintenance knowledge and multi-tasking.

  • Must have attention to detail and be able to follow written and verbal directions

Additional Information:

  • Must complete ITP for a Sr Specialist — Maintenance

  • Must provide pager and/or cell phone coverage

  • No certifications required

  • Tasks require entering manufacturing and laboratory areas which require wearing appropriate PPE.
