Actalent Quality Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana

We are a national life science company that creates products which are crucial for expediting the development of new, life-saving biopharmaceuticals, exonerating innocent individuals based on DNA evidence, and monitoring patients with chronic diseases. Our local Indianapolis team is actively looking for a Quality Technician to monitor and improve the quality of our operational processes and outputs.
Responsibilities
Follow quality standards and quality control systems.
Consistently identify mistakes across thousands of inspections.
Closely follow quality standards, document data, and report issues.
Perform lab tests and use measurement tools to evaluate product quality.
Monitor and analyze quality performance.
Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
Collaborate with Quality Leadership and Senior Partners to maintain controls and improvements.
Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues.
Work with the Quality Engineer to develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience working within quality.
1+ years of experience working within a regulated environment (Pharma or Med Device preferred).
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or GMP.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in using quality control tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with visual inspection, quality checks, and quality testing.
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Work Environment
The position requires working the 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The work environment includes a regulated lab setting with adherence to strict quality standards and protocols. You will be using various measurement tools and laboratory equipment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
